Sad news - Gloria Waite

We are very sorry to learn that Gloria Waite, widow of Dickie Waite (yoe 1938) passed away on 8th June.

Gloria had been unwell for a short time and passed away peacefully in hospital. There is no news yet of the funeral date. Gloria and Dickie met whilst the school was evacuated to Brockenhurst during the War, were great supporters of the Association and regular attendees at the annual dinner until age prevented them from attending. Gloria had just celebrated her 96th birthday and Dickie passed away in December 2018 just before his 96th birthday. Our sincere condolences go to Gloria’s son and daughter Richard and Karen as well as wider family and friends.
