This was the speech that she recorded for our 2006 dinner when Aileen (widow of Headmaster H J Mills) was 95 years old and registered blind - it is a magnificent piece of oratory for one of that age. One can certainly tell that she was a radio voice in her time (notably "Dot" of the Luscombes and "Tess" in Tess of the Durbervilles). Sadly, Aileen passed away in 2007.
